Looking all these kids from the orphanage really stroke my heart hard. Amidst all of these unfortunate events that happened to them, they still can greet us with a BIG smile. Mostly, the kids lose one or both parents so they stay in foster care provided by Malaysia government and through donation. It was a nice experience and hope to do this again in the future.
Reality bites: Seeing all these orphaned children in Malaysia, I remember all these street children in the Philippines. In Asia, the Philippines have the most number of street children. Although, these children are not literally orphaned, most of them run away from home due to poverty and the consequences of poverty which are broken families, violence, drugs, alcoholism, and in many cases physical and sexual abuse. Normally, you will see them begging in the streets, drinking filthy waters, scavenging, peddling drugs and petty theft.
I hope I can make the world a better place to live in but the truth is I can only do a little. Life is always unfair and will always be.

Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation

Wow! I can't believed that I am part of this project. I was thinking all the while that CoE does not like ABeam Malaysia at all. I am really happy that I am part of this project, aside from I am really comfortable talking with CoE - Ajinomoto members, the project is in the Philippines. So, that means, I will be working in the Philippines from September 9, 2010 until July 2011. ( Hmmm, thinking about perdiem and all allowances $$$$ 
I am really grateful with ABeam Consulting, eversince I joined this company I never run out of assignments. Since 2007, immediately they sent me to Japan for Yokogawa project which was until December 2007. Then from May 2008 (right after my maternity leave), I started helping AMO for Ajinomoto which will be until August 31, 2010. (wow! that was more than 2 years). Then from September onwards, my next assignment will be Cross Team Leader for Ajinomoto Philippine Corporation project which will start very soon. Wish me luck!! 
I think I am so lucky. The universe have seen and heard all my GREAT EFFORTS.

Hmmm, now my 29th bday has come and I am celebrating it here in Malaysia with my officemates and fortunately with my mom and sister since they are here to visit me. Well, all I can say is, modesty aside, I might not be the thinnest, prettiest, or richest woman here on earth, but i have a supportive family, loving and understanding husband, a wonderful and good son, a fulifilling career and a happy life, so think It's safe to say that I am still doing PRETTY GOOD until now. 
If you don't agree, sorry!!

Mom and sis visit KL

It was really nice to bond with my mom and sis here in KL. This is not a very common event due to time and money concerns   hehehe...But the feeling is very nice when they're able to see where I work and live 
Of course, ladies always love shopping so our itinerary usually consist of malls: to check shoes, watch, bags, accessories and last not but not the least, FOOD! The golden rule of this trip is "eat all you can" as we try not to put "budget" when it comes to "stomach issues". 
It maybe is only a short trip but the memory will last longer...
Surely, my sister will come back again since she will be working again here soon.

Jye, first of all, I want to say I am really happy for you, it was 12 yrs ago when we first became friends. During those days, everything seems so hard already worrying about projects and exams plus BroXsis' getaways. We are always pressured! But now, looking back, those years should be the free and easy days, since it is only ourselves we worry. Now, we have both a son.
